Jennifer L. MacNeil, M.S., CCC-SLP

Jennifer has worked in both private and public educational settings as a speech-language pathologist and as a reading and writing specialist.  She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the International Reading Association. She has expertise in the relationship between childhood speech and language disorders and school-age reading and writing disabilities.

Jen takes into account each client's interpersonal skills and interests when creating individual treatment programs.  She believes in creating a fun and engaging atmosphere where students are excited to learn.  Families are welcome to participate in therapy sessions and are encouraged to ask questions and provide insights about their child. When working with tweens, teens and young adults, Jen encourages students to think deeply and interact with kindness and consideration for others.  She believes that hands-on and project-based learning leads to optimal success.

Jen has volunteered with the Science Technology Engineering Arts & Mathematics Work Group for the Dover, NH School System. In the summer, she volunteers for the University of New Hampshire TECH for Teachers program, modeling how to integrate STEAM curriculum into the general education classroom, sharing strategies to promote differentiated instruction and making curriculum accessible to all students.
